Making a notable debut, the US electronic duo Four Seconds Ago has released a fresh two-track collection titled ‘Bump The Lamp’ and ‘Muse’.
This dynamic collaboration between founders Misha Mansoor and Jake Bowen showcases their two decades of friendship and extensive musical journey. As members of GRAMMY®-nominated band Periphery, along with various cross-genre projects, Misha and Jake continue to expand their creative boundaries, infusing their signature style into electronic music.

Influenced by artists such as deadmau5, Hudson Mohawke, and Jon Hopkins, Misha and Jake first introduced Four Seconds Ago in 2018 with their debut album The Vacancy, which was met with critical acclaim. Over the years, they have gained valuable experience through solo projects, acquiring a diverse range of studio tools that have enabled them to elevate their sound.
Now, Four Seconds Ago unveils their latest tracks ‘Bump The Lamp’ and ‘Muse’, creating immersive soundscapes enriched with analog synths, ethereal dynamics, and ambient melodies. ‘Bump The Lamp’ features a shimmering synth loop layered over glitchy, clap-heavy beats, while soft keys flicker like embers in a swirling atmosphere. In contrast, ‘Muse’ incorporates an ethereal vocal sample, riding waves of dynamic synths, skittering cymbals, and gentle feedback, navigating through various sonic landscapes. Keep an eye out as ‘Bump The Lamp’ and ‘Muse’ make their global debut.
