This year has been incredibly significant for Australian electronic music artist Dom Dolla. After electrifying performances during Super Bowl week, releasing his latest single “Dreamin (feat. Daya),” and announcing two headlining shows at Madison Square Garden along with a Hï Ibiza Summer Residency, Dom is now set to continue his upward trajectory with a major show in Colorado.

In an Instagram announcement, Dom expressed, “DENVAAAAA, I’ve decided to switch it up this year… It’s time for a party in the park,” revealing that he will perform at Civic Center Park in Denver on May 9. This news might come as a shock to fans expecting his return to the famed Red Rocks venue this season.

Last year, Dom Dolla had planned two headline shows at Red Rocks in April, but one was canceled due to high winds, leading to a relocation to Mission Ballroom in Denver. While some may feel disappointed about his absence from Red Rocks this year, Dom’s debut at the larger Civic Center Park promises to be an unforgettable event. This venue is also known for hosting the annual Deadbeats Backyard Jamboree by the legendary bass duo Zeds Dead each Fourth of July.

This highly anticipated show coincides with fellow Australian DJ Fisher‘s block party in Downtown Denver, making May a fantastic month for house music fans in the city. Known as the “Bass Capital,” Denver will be buzzing with energy from these two major outdoor events.
