Claude VonStroke is stepping away from the traditional music industry narrative. After dedicating two decades to establishing Dirtybird as a leading name in dance music, selling the company, and enjoying a well-deserved hiatus, he is back on his own terms.

His Life of Leisure tour is not about showcasing celebrity status or filling massive arenas. Instead, it’s a thoughtfully curated series of performances at venues he genuinely wants to play, for audiences who truly want to be there. The concept is straightforward: a few hours of stress-free enjoyment, accompanied by VonStroke’s unique blend of quirky, groovy, bass-driven sounds.

“This isn’t a status flex, it’s a vacation on the dancefloor,” VonStroke states. “The ravers are the heroes; I’m the guide. Let’s leave the stress behind and experience the Life of Leisure together.”

The tour begins on April 25 at the Knockdown Center in New York, coinciding with the launch of his new EP, I Was the Wolf. Following that, he will perform at a mix of intimate clubs and festival stages, including venues like CODA in Toronto, It’ll Do in Dallas, Space in Miami, and festival appearances at Lightning in a Bottle, Movement Detroit, and Osheaga. A European segment is also in the works, with London and Berlin dates already confirmed.

This marks a new chapter, a fresh beginning, or however one wishes to label it—but ultimately, it’s simply Claude VonStroke doing what he excels at: hosting parties that radiate joy.
