“HQ hears you & is here for you,” states the first slide of a recent Electric Forest Instagram post.
The trend of “new year, new me” is making waves among festival brands lately. Electric Forest is following the lead of Elements and Project GLOW by outlining plans for enhancements as it prepares to return to Rothbury, Michigan from June 19-22.
On Instagram, Electric Forest shared an Instagram carousel today, following the announcement of over 40 new acts for the 2025 festival lineup. The cover slide reads, “HQ hears you & is here for you,” and the next slide assures attendees of upgraded sound systems at the Honeycomb and Observatory stages.
Additionally, organizers revealed that music programming will now extend until 4 AM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. A new late-night silent disco on Main Street is set to cater to those eager to keep the festivities alive into the early morning hours.
Electric Forest 2025 will also feature an increased number of restrooms throughout the festival area. In addition, new harm reduction initiatives and mental health resources will be provided for attendees, with each camping area pod having its own ground control station.
The carousel concludes with a slide detailing a new group camping location closer to the main areas. It also highlights Camp Wayfinder, a designated space for solo attendees.
Starting as the Rothbury Festival in 2008, Electric Forest has gained popularity for its unique combination of predominantly EDM and jam band performances. A recent Rothbury Council meeting in 2024 confirmed the festival’s return annually through 2035.
Tickets for Electric Forest 2025 are currently available, starting at $600 for all four days. Tickets can be purchased via AXS, with more information available on the official website.
