SHOSH Celebrates International Women’s Day with an Exclusive Mix Featuring New Music
While men have historically dominated the dance music scene, women have increasingly taken center stage in recent years. A quick look at today’s artists across genres reveals that women are leading the charge. One of these rising stars is SHOSH, who had a breakthrough year in 2024 and is poised for an even more impactful 2025.
SHOSH is making waves with her dynamic approach to music and performance. She’s not only released tracks on notable labels like UKF, but also toured across Asia, graced the stages of Ibiza, and made appearances at major festivals such as Glastonbury and Boomtown Fair. In addition to her music career, she is a resident presenter for KISS FM and the founder of 24hr Garage Girls, a collective aimed at empowering women in the music industry.
While her UK Garage sound has been a hallmark of her work, SHOSH’s latest tracks have ventured into the dubstep realm, showcasing her versatility. Her track “This Is Not A Test,” released on UKF, captivated listeners and reached #1 on the Beatport charts. This success set the stage for her new single, “Skanner Power,” out now via Deadbeats. This bass-driven anthem seamlessly blends dubstep and UKG elements, creating an irresistible listening experience.
SHOSH will be making her presence known in the US this April with a five-night tour. Before embarking on this journey, she has crafted a special mix filled with fresh tracks and exclusive gems to commemorate International Women’s Day.
