Titanic’s End founder Justin Kan discusses the debut single ‘In Your Eyes’ from the art car-turned record label

The Titanic’s End art car has established itself as a significant presence in the live DJ scene. This mobile electronic music stage has hosted events featuring Diplo, LP Giobbi, and TOKiMONSTA, among others, and was part of Fisher and Chris Lake‘s Hollywood Blvd takeover party last summer. As of March 7, 2025, Titanic’s End has evolved into one of the most intriguing new record labels in dance music. Their inaugural release, “In Your Eyes,” features JK, Arabic Piano, Orso, and GRAMMY-nominated artist Maejor. This collaborative effort spans three continents and showcases an organic house sound. Titanic’s End founder Justin Kan spoke with Dancing Astronaut in an exclusive Q&A about the release and the label.

Listen to “In Your Eyes” and check out the official Q&A below.

What led to choosing “In Your Eyes” as Titanic’s End Records’ debut release?

Justin: “We’ve been captivated by the global sound of afro house music for the past couple of years. Some of the artists who’ve inspired us and have performed on Titanic’s End are Francis Mercier, Nitefreak, Maxi Meraki, and Arodes. We wanted to create a label that highlights sounds from our community of artists, DJs, and producers, and we loved the vibe of ‘In Your Eyes.’”

Can you touch on Titanic’s End’s ocean conservation efforts?

Justin: “Absolutely! We partner with Only One, a non-profit advocacy group focused on driving climate and ocean policy globally. We support their mission and have been donating proceeds from some of our events to help with their important work.”

What’s it like being an entrepreneur in the music industry?

Justin: “I’m a multifaceted entrepreneur, but music is my true passion! Recently, I co-founded Titanic’s End Records with Nick Parasram. I also enjoy building technology companies. As someone who doesn’t drink, I’ve launched a non-alcoholic wine brand called ‘Woody’s’ with a close friend.”

What lies ahead for you and Titanic’s End?

Justin: “We have plans for more real-world events featuring the full art car, showcasing talent from our community. We’re aiming to bring these events to Los Angeles and San Francisco this year, and we will share more details soon!”
