PhaseOne Unleashes “SOS,” His Collaboration with Make Them Suffer Ahead of Debut Album Release
Renowned Australian DJ and producer PhaseOne is making waves in the bass music scene with his electrifying sound that fuses dubstep and metal. Continuing his ascent, he recently launched the Sounds Of Mayhem label, gearing up for the release of his debut album that promises to deliver more of his signature hard-hitting tracks.
While specifics about the album are still under wraps, fans can expect a showcase of PhaseOne’s unique hybrid bass style, characterized by explosive drops and meticulously crafted elements. The first taste of this new era arrives with the single “SOS,” a collaboration with Australian metalcore band Make Them Suffer. PhaseOne describes this track as “probably the most painstakingly crafted track” of his career.
“'[SOS] went through countless variations over the course of a year, but it wasn’t until I reached out to Make Them Suffer—who agreed to feature—that the song really started to take shape,” PhaseOne explained. “I’ve chosen it as the first single for my next album because it embodies everything you’d expect from a PhaseOne track: guitar, an ethereal verse, a massive chorus, and metal vocals that lead into a crushing drop.”
The blend of dubstep and metal in “SOS” delivers an energetic experience that captivates listeners. The track begins with the emotive vocals of Make Them Suffer, gradually building up to a colossal drop that promises to rattle speakers and captivate audiences.
