Island Hill Makes a Strong Comeback with New EP Featuring Komilev

Island Hill is back with an exciting new EP after a two-year break since their debut album “Strangers In Paradise,” which included remixes by renowned artists like John Digweed and Red Axes, along with collaborations with Dee Montero, Of Norway, and Jamie Stevens. The new release, titled “The Voyage,” showcases a fresh evolution of their distinct sound.

For this project, Island Hill has collaborated with the talented Ukrainian producer Komilev, known for his impressive work with labels such as Discotexas, Exploited, Frau Blau, Super Sapiens, and Watergate. His innovative productions have gained recognition among electronic music enthusiasts and tastemakers, pushing Island Hill into thrilling new creative realms.

The “The Voyage” EP maintains Island Hill’s signature lush songwriting and melodic Pacific guitar tones while diving deeper into dance music. The band incorporates heavily processed vocoder vocals and captivating, groove-driven elements, with Komilev’s state-of-the-art production at the helm. This combination results in three tracks that introduce a refined and electrifying new facet to the band’s sound, blending organic textures with vibrant club energy.

This bold progression is unmistakably rooted in Island Hill’s essence.
