Joseph Capriati Releases GU47: Montreal
Joseph Capriati, one of the most sought-after DJs and producers in the electronic music scene, has unveiled the latest edition of the acclaimed Global Underground City Series, titled GU47: Montreal.
Following a string of successful Global Underground mixes by renowned artists like Danny Tenaglia, ANNA, Joris Voorn, and Amelie Lens, Joseph Capriati marks nearly two decades of global touring with an exceptional two-disc musical journey that highlights his remarkable versatility, expert mixing, and extensive musical knowledge across various genres.
The first CD, named ‘Bright Disc’, showcases Joseph Capriati’s house music flair, while the second CD, dubbed ‘Obscure Disc’, features his signature vibrant techno sound that has garnered him fans worldwide.
Notable artists on CD1 include KiNK, Solomon, Louie Vega, Âme, and Fear-E, while CD2 boasts contributions from Indira Paganotto, Len Faki, Julieta Kopp, Oscar Mulero, and Joseph Capriati himself.

With nearly 20 years of experience as a world-touring DJ, Joseph Capriati is recognized as a leading figure in the House and Techno music scenes. His diverse production skills have been displayed through releases on esteemed labels such as CLR, Drumcode, Nervous Records, Bush Records, Kompakt, and Soma. Capriati has released three albums: ‘Save My Soul’ (2010), ‘Self Portrait’ (2012), and ‘Metamorfosi’ (2020) on his own label, Redimension Music. He has also remixed and collaborated with legendary artists including Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Danny Tenaglia, Joey Beltram, DJ Pierre, Louie Vega, and his mentors Rino Cerrone and Markantonio.
