Great to have you with us here at EDM Nations, Wassay! Where in the world can our readers find you currently?
Hey there, thanks for having me! 😁 I’m currently based in my Swiss residence, primarily at the MAD Club in Lausanne.
With your single “My Limit Is The Sky” recently released, is this your first collaboration with Nathan Blur?
Yes, this is our first track together. I loved his vocal tone and felt it would blend perfectly with this style of music.
Regarding the production process, did you start with the backing track or an initial song idea?
I initially asked Nathan to help me write lyrics for another unsigned song. As I worked on the vocals he sent me, I ended up creating a completely different track that I was thrilled with. I then asked if I could use his voice for this second track, and he agreed.
When did your journey into the electronic music scene begin?
I discovered electronic music in late 2014 at a friend’s house party. A school friend introduced me to DJing. I played at various parties until 2022 when I secured my residency at the MAD Club in Lausanne. I began producing music in 2023.
Did you start as a DJ or a producer first?
I started as a DJ. My passion for mixing kept me from diving into production until much later.
As we move further into 2025, what’s next for Wassay?
I have a lot in the works. I’m collaborating with a songwriter on my current projects and have two finished tracks that I’m looking to get signed.
