Breakaway Dallas Reschedules Friday Performances to Sunday Due to Severe Weather Forecasts
The Breakaway Music Festival team has been preparing for an exciting debut in Dallas this weekend; however, unexpected weather conditions have necessitated changes. The festival, originally set to commence at Fair Park on Friday, April 4, will now have all Friday performances moved to Sunday, April 6, due to adverse weather predictions in North Texas.
Forecasts indicate storms and potential severe weather, with flood threats looming over the region. According to KXAS-TV (NBC5), there is a 90% chance of rain, with heavy downpours anticipated.
“After careful consideration of the weather and consultations with local authorities, we’ve decided to transition Friday’s scheduled performances to Sunday, April 6,” stated the Breakaway Music Festival team. “Saturday’s lineup is set for an incredible day of music!”
We are thrilled to officially launch Breakaway’s festival season in Dallas this weekend. Our team has worked tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience for the community. As always, the safety of our fans, artists, and staff is our top priority.
