In February 2023, Skrillex, whose real name is Sonny Moore, released two albums in quick succession, before announcing in March that he would perform a five-hour set at Red Rocks. That event sold out rapidly, and attendees praised the unforgettable experience crafted by the renowned artist.

Since the release of the My Name is Skrillex EP in 2010, Moore has profoundly influenced a new generation of producers, particularly within the bass music genre. Although his 2023 albums moved away from the aggressive bass sounds that first garnered him fame, these elements have made a comeback in his latest work.
