Leena Punks, Elliot Vast, Huminal, and Daijo Shine on Interstellar Recordings’ Debut Compilation, Celestia Vol. 1.
Interstellar may have faced challenges at the outset with the cancellation of their inaugural festival, but this burgeoning Insomniac brand has steadily gained momentum over the years. They have since put together exciting lineups featuring progressive house and melodic house and techno artists at various festivals and nightclubs, while also establishing a label dedicated to these genres.
Numerous established names and up-and-coming talents have contributed to Interstellar Recordings since its launch. Now, they’ve elevated their game by introducing a new compilation series titled Celestia. The first volume features four tracks from artists making waves in the electronic music scene: Leena Punks, Elliot Vast, Huminal, and Daijo.
Leading the compilation is Leena Punks’ “I Don’t Know,” which starts with captivating vocals and an atmospheric intro, before unleashing an energetic mainstage-worthy drop. The two drops in this track are nothing short of magnificent. Following that, Elliot Vast brings a mesmerizing touch with “Calling,” designed to keep listeners enchanted. Huminal continues the laid-back mood with “Unfold,” filled with uplifting, airy melodies that are utterly irresistible.
Another highlight in this collection is Canadian producer Daijo’s track “War Inside,” a melodic techno piece brimming with energy and deep emotion, featuring stunning vocals from Jordan Grace. “We all fight battles within ourselves,” Daijo explained. “‘War Inside’ captures that inner struggle while also conveying the strength we gain from overcoming it. My aim was to channel that feeling into something impactful, something that resonates with people physically and emotionally.”
