Celebrate a Decade of B-Side Los Angeles with an Exciting DJ Battle Anniversary Event
In 2014, Murad Rezian and A Hundred Drums embarked on a journey by founding the B-Side Los Angeles collective, committed to bringing dubstep to audiences while celebrating sound system culture. Fast forward to today, and B-Side has evolved into one of Southern California’s most cherished events, showcasing innovative artists and iconic performances. To mark their 10-year milestone, B-Side Los Angeles is set to host a special anniversary event featuring a unique DJ Battle.
Scheduled for June 20 at Dragonfly Hollywood, the anniversary celebration promises an impressive lineup. The All:Lo Collective will take center stage, featuring Thought Process x Parkbreezy and Pheel. Additionally, B-Side pioneers Anabadi and Chemistry MC will grace the event, ensuring a memorable night.
In an exciting twist, B-Side Los Angeles has teamed up with Same Same But Different to revitalize the DJ Battle segment. Aspiring DJs can submit their best mixes in a one-minute video, with voting for the top eight participants occurring from June 3 to June 17. On June 20, the three finalists will compete live in front of esteemed judges, each performing for 15 minutes. The ultimate winner will earn an opening slot at both B-Side Los Angeles and Same Same But Different events this year.
