Having made a triumphant return to hard dance, DEATH CODE has delved into the realm of rawstyle, achieving remarkable success with standout releases on Theracords, Gearbox Digital, and Scantraxx, along with electrifying performances at events like Intents and Basscon Wasteland. Despite these accomplishments, he is eager to push the boundaries of his project further.
“After years of working in the raw hardstyle realm, I started feeling like something was missing. I wanted to dig deeper, not just into heavier sounds, but into the emotions and chaos that I was feeling inside. That’s when I started shifting into hard industrial techno.”

Transitioning into the hardest industrial techno has allowed DEATH CODE to explore his artistic vision more freely. “There’s a certain rawness in industrial that mirrors how I see the world now,” he shared with EDM Identity. “It’s gritty, imperfect, a little violent, but still beautiful in its own way.” His project embodies darkness and personal evolution, continually adapting to define DEATH CODE in the present.
DEATH CODE is enthusiastic about the evolution of hard sounds on American dancefloors. “There’s this new wave of artists and fans who aren’t interested in staying inside genre lines,” he remarked. “The boundaries between rawstyle, hardcore, and industrial techno are blurring, and that’s where some of the most innovative stuff is happening.”
Looking ahead, DEATH CODE will be making a special appearance at EDC Las Vegas alongside the American Hard Dance supergroup KAMI. The two artists previously faced off in an electrifying versus performance at the inaugural Basscon Bullseye!. Both artists draw from heavy, aggressive roots while showcasing their unique sound and energy.
Regarding their upcoming performance, DEATH CODE stated, “We’re pushing each other creatively, and the chemistry has been crazy. Fans can expect a lot of unreleased material, insane transitions, and pure chaos.” He expressed that returning to the desert holds special significance, as EDCLV means so much to both fans and artists.
“Last year when I played, it was the closing set at sunrise. That moment really stuck with me. Watching the sky change while still feeling the energy of all the people in front of me… it was one of those rare moments when everything just clicked. It reminded me why I do this. Coming back now with a b2b alongside KAMI feels like the perfect next chapter.”

Before heading to Las Vegas, DEATH CODE crafted a powerful guest mix that showcases his intense style and offers a preview of the electrifying performance to come with KAMI at EDCLV. The mix runs for 33 minutes, taking listeners through the hardest industrial tracks from his catalog and the best in the genre. As a special highlight, it features his highly anticipated track, “THE SLEEPWALKER,” which is set to release the week after EDCLV on Theracords.
“It’s been wild watching the American Hard Dance scene evolve over the years. What used to feel like an isolated niche has started to bleed into other corners of electronic music, and one of the most exciting shifts I’m seeing is the crossover between hardstyle/raw and hard techno.
