I’ve been eagerly anticipating this genre-defying talent since discovering her track “Everything is Energy” and her Infrasound 2024 set on YouTube. She fearlessly pushes sonic boundaries, whether performing at massive festivals or intimate venues. With acid-infused basslines, house grooves, and powerful dubstep drops, her set will undoubtedly be a highlight.

In addition to her skills as a DJ and producer, she serves as the DJ curriculum director at FEMME HOUSE, a nonprofit that empowers women, gender-expansive individuals, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ artists in the technical and behind-the-scenes aspects of the music industry.

The captivating soundscapes of Jade Cicada have been on repeat for me, and I’m thrilled to finally catch his live set. His music transcends genres, delivering an atmospheric mix of glitch-hop, UK bass, and ambient sounds that create a truly immersive auditory and visual experience.

It’s no wonder he’s been announced as a special guest at LIB 2025. His performances encapsulate the multi-sensory magic that defines the festival, promising to be one of the most enthralling sets of the weekend.

The first time I experienced Dimond Saints was at Nocturnal Wonderland 2016, and their sound left a lasting impression on me. This Oakland duo is celebrated for their unique fusion of future bass and hip-hop, interwoven with tribal elements, crafting a sound that is both ethereal and powerful, characterized by intricate soundscapes that reflect their distinct identity.

It was heartbreaking to learn about the loss of their close friend and collaborator Jacqueline, known as Yaarrohs, whose haunting vocals first captivated me in their track “IDGAF.” According to their social media, they plan to pay tribute to her during their set this year, creating a deeply emotional and impactful moment.

One of the standout performances I witnessed at CRSSD 2023 was by Sama’ Abdulhadi. I was wandering through the festival when her captivating techno beats stopped me in my tracks.

It was a moment of pure magic. The pioneering Palestinian DJ and producer has quickly become a favorite of mine, thanks to her unique blend of driving basslines and sharp synths. Her sets offer an atmospheric experience that draws from global influences while remaining true to the roots of Berlin-style techno.

In addition to her remarkable skills behind the decks, Sama’ is dedicated to nurturing the electronic music scene in Palestine. She established the Union Collective to support Palestinian DJs and foster safe, inclusive spaces for creative expression.

Four Tet

As a longtime admirer of Four Tet, it’s been fascinating to watch his musical journey unfold. The excitement surrounding his collaboration with Skrillex and Fred Again at Coachella 2023 and that incredible “Country Riddim” drop was something else!

This British producer has captured my heart since his early tracks like “Baby” and “Angel Echoes,” where he effortlessly merges dancefloor energy with atmospheric, experimental sounds. His signature elements, such as bells, airy vocal loops, and steady mid-tempo beats, have become hallmark features throughout his work.

Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing his concert at the Hollywood Palladium, where he partnered with Squid Soup for an immersive, multi-sensory performance. The venue was transformed with suspended lights, enveloping the audience in an enchanting display as Four Tet played in a unique 360° setup. It was a mesmerizing blend of sound, space, and emotion.
