Duke Dumont Embraces Trance with “Your Loving,” the Lead Single from His Upcoming Album, Union, Released by Astralwerks
After a five-year hiatus since the release of his debut studio album, Duality, Duke Dumont is back with an exciting announcement. His new album, Union, is set to release on Astralwerks on July 25.
To give fans a taste of what to expect from the forthcoming 12-track collection, Dumont has unveiled the single titled “Your Loving.” This track features the expansive soundscapes and soulful vocals that Dumont is known for, but its upbeat tempo and euphoric synth arpeggios hint at a trance influence.
Dumont revealed that the album’s title reflects a theme of unity. “I’ve realized that there are few experiences in life that bring people together on a fundamental level,” he shared. “My album Union pays tribute to this unique connection.”
Having gained recognition in the dance music scene with his BBC Radio 1-featured EPs For Club Play Only Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 in 2012, Dumont has since become a staple in the genre. His debut album in 2020 included hits like “I Got U” and “Ocean Drive,” which are widely recognized among electronic music fans.
Stream “Your Loving” on Spotify or your favorite platform, and pre-order Union before its July 25 release.
