Metamorphosis Arts and Music Project Features Artists Like Dimension, Alison Wonderland, and Lane 8.
Mark your calendars for August 29-31 as a new festival, the Metamorphosis Arts and Music Project, makes its inaugural appearance at the Orlando Amphitheater and the nearby Central Florida Fairgrounds. The lineup just announced is poised to establish this event as a significant player in the EDM scene.
Headliners for the three-day festival include Australia’s Alison Wonderland, Big Gigantic, and Gramatik, along with house music veterans Lane 8 and Duke Dumont. Bass music enthusiasts can look forward to performances from Levity and Of The Trees. Drum and bass icon Dimension, the progressive duo Kasablanca, and genre-bending artist San Holo are also featured prominently on the lineup.
The Metamorphosis Arts and Music Project has a strong emphasis on bass music, with artists like Eazybaked, Meduso, Memba, Ravenscoon, and Ternion Sound demonstrating the organizers’ understanding of their audience. Special live sets will be presented by Yheti, Flowdan, Manic Focus, lespecial, and Liminoid, adding an exciting layer to an already impressive lineup. Supporting acts include Mlotik, Nobodies King, Spirit Motel, Yokai, Puffin, and Prankstisci.
Metamorphosis is regarded as the spiritual successor to Sol Fest, which was previously held in Ponce De Leon, Florida. The 2024 edition of Sol Fest faced challenges, including a car fire, logistical problems, and heightened law enforcement searches. In January of this year, organizers announced that Sol Fest would be going on an indefinite hiatus.
General ticket sales for the Metamorphosis Arts and Music Festival begin on Wednesday, May 14, at 11am ET. Sign up for updates, including access codes, through Hive, and find more information on the official Metamorphosis Arts and Music Festival website.
